Kimberly Weaver is a trauma therapist, speaker, consultant, and spiritual director (in training) with a passion for supporting individuals, organizations, and communities on their path to healing, wellness, and wholeness. With a background that spans clinical counseling, nonprofit leadership, higher education, and philanthropy, Kimberly brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and faith-rooted approach to everything she does.
In her clinical work, Kimberly walks alongside individuals facing anxiety, depression, racial identity issues, relational struggles, and unresolved trauma. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her therapeutic lens is deeply person-centered, trauma-informed, and spiritually sensitive. Kimberly has a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced racial identity issues & racial trauma, faith-based trauma (church hurt & crisis of faith), and those in need of spiritual refreshing (soul care).
Before becoming a therapist, Kimberly spent over a decade leading mission-driven programs in New York City and Charlotte, NC. She managed multimillion-dollar youth development initiatives, supervised diverse teams, facilitated leadership development programs, and designed curriculum for young adults. Her work has consistently focused on empowering Black and Brown youth, first-generation college students, and underserved communities.
As a dynamic speaker, trainer, and consultant, Kimberly is known for her warmth, authenticity, and ability to create brave spaces for learning, motivation, and transformation. She has spoken at national conferences, churches, universities, and staff retreats—covering topics such as trauma-informed care, the integration of faith and mental health, multicultural counseling, and authentic leadership.
Whether through therapy, training, or speaking, Kimberly’s mission is to cultivate healing-centered environments of radical care that promote emotional wellness, spiritual renewal, and lasting transformation.
Outside of her professional work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, enjoying a great cup of coffee, and finding peace through the spiritual disciplines of silence and solitude.
